5 College Budget Drinking Games-Halloween Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Holy Cross chapter.

1)Alcoholic Apple Bobbing: (Container, Jungle Juice, and Apples)

Whip up some jungle juice or whatever creative concoction your mixology spirits are feeling and pour it into a large bowl or container.  Throw in some apples and get bobbin!

(Bonus: If your feeling really spooky, carve in some numbers to the apples 1-5.  Whatever number your apple has carved in is the number of sips, chugs, or shots you must take)

2)TRICK OR TREAT (Shot glasses, two brands of Alcohol of your choice, dice)

Grab an even number of non-see-through shot glasses and label half trick and half treat.  Pour whatever your feeling in each shot glass. Grab the dice and roll.  Even numbers are trick and odd numbers are treat.  Good luck with whatever the mystery drink is! Halloween is all about surprises after all!

(Bonus: Use all different types of drinks instead of just two to really make this Halloween drinking game really tricky and also a treat;)

3)Wrap-a-Mummy (6 rolls of toilet paper-3 for each team)

Everyone has had to have played this at some childhood Halloween party.  Grab some toilet paper and split into two teams.  Designate a mummy to be wrapped up and get going.  Whoever wraps their mummy up first and uses all the toilet paper wins.  Loser is at the champions’ mercy!  Now that’s quit a scare!

(Bonus:  Each team make a premade concoction for the loser so there is no turning back!)

4) Zombie, Witch, Ghost (Nothing but your dranks!)

A fast game to get people drinking that involves three actions: 1) Zombie (arms out in front of you), 2) Witch (imitate riding a broom with hands) and 3)Ghost (wavy arms by your sides and “ooooooooo” ghosty sound). The game master counts to three and on “Go,” you become one of the three characters.  The character with the most amount of people playing it loses and has to drink.

(Bonus: Sound affects are highly recommended and will most likely improve as game goes on)

5)Monster Mash (Some way to play music, and your drinks)

This game is the same as “Thunder” except with the song “Monster Mash” by Bobby Pickett.   The song begins and the first player starts to drink their drink.  They cannot stop until they hear the word “MASH”.  Then the next player starts to drink until “MASH” is mentioned again.  So on and so forth…

(Bonus: Replay the song a few times to get monster s(mashed).
