There are a lot of things that make December great. It’s the end of the fall semester and holiday festivities are in full swing. Following right after Thanksgiving, student organizations at Hofstra work together to paint the windows of the dining room to create a winter wonderland for Sinterklaaus. The results are pretty magical.

The window displays showcase holidays and traditions from all different cultures, all brought together by elements from Hofstra, like Will and Kate.

Students aren’t the only ones who enjoy the festive paintings. Children from the Hempstead community come to see the displays and partake in activities. They also got to paint a window of their own which reads “Hofstra Holidays” and showcases their adorable little handprints.
