This is What HC Hofstra Members are Doing During Quarantine

With the world under quarantine, everyone is either working remotely, taking online classes, or learning a new skill to make life a little easier. If you are in need of new ways to occupy your time, Her Campus Hofstra is here to help! We asked some of our members what they are doing during quarantine in order to provide some inspiration!

 

“I started doing daily work outs and have started cooking which makes me feel a lot healthier. At night, i always wind down with a nice rom com. my fave ones have been One Day and Love, Rosie!” – Grace Trott ’22

“YouTube workout videos (specifically from POPSUGAR Fitness like the ones in my article :)), game nights with friends using Zoom and Jackbox, baking my ASS off! Oh, and so much Netflix Party. – Madie Mento ’21

“I have been focusing on getting all my work in order because I’m a big procrastinator so I’m trying to change that by staying organized. I’ve also been having a lot of Netflix parties with my friends and FaceTiming them all. Also when it’s nice out I’ll take my dogs on a walk.” – Kayla Blonigen ’23

While we are all facing all sorts of uncertainties, it is important that we each do our part and social distance as much as we can and find creative new activities to make the time go by faster. HC Hofstra is trying to do the best they can to try staying at home as productive as possible. Stay healthy and stay safe!

Antonella is originally from Miami, Florida and is currently a senior english/publishing studies major at Hofstra University with a minor in public relations. She loves reading even with a never ending TBR pile, her adorable corgi Marble, and Ariana Grande. She hopes to land a job within the publishing industry when she graduates.
