Welcome back collegiettes! It’s an exciting time to be back on campus and I hope your semester is off to a great start. I’m back with helpful tips on how to make this the best year yet. 

 

Want to get more involved on campus? This is the time! Clubs are holding their first meetings this week and with so many to choose from, you’re bound to find one you’ll love. She’s the First, Newman Club, Bowling Club and Spectrum Players are all meeting this week. Just to name a few!

You deserve a day in the city. Round up a few friends and enjoy a beautiful October day walking the Highline in Chelsea. Sign ups are Wednesday, September 18th at 11:30 a.m. in room 260 in the Student Center. For a full list of all the awesome trips this semester click here!

Get hypnotized! Don’t miss the Hypnotist Show this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center Theater. It’s sure to be hilarious and who doesn’t love getting hypnotized?

Rachel is a senior at Hofstra University where she majors in journalism with minors in fine arts photography and creative writing. The Rochester, NY native is involved in several organizations on campus including the Hofstra chapters of Ed2010 and She's the First. She is also an RA in a freshman residence hall. Rachel has interned at College Lifestyles, Cosmopolitan, The Knot Magazine, and is now interning at Us Weekly. She hopes to someday fulfill her dreams of being an editor at a magazine.
