Hey collegiates! What a week it has been with the beautiful weather and the chance to finally pull out those summer clothes. You can look forward to some more Vitamin D this week, and even though it won’t be as warm, this campus is heating up with things to do!
Spring sports at Hofstra are in full swing, get out and see a game! Catch the baseball team take on the University of Delaware on Friday at 3:00 p.m. or women’s lacrosse vs. Townson at 7:00. Have fun and show some Hofstra Pride!
Hofstra 4 Congo has their big kickoff event this Monday, it will be a fun time and is sponsoring a great cause. All the money raised at the event will go to supporting children’s education in the Congo. There will be speakers, activities, dinner, for only $2! The event takes place in Hof USA Monday night, April 15th at 8:00 p.m.
Looking for some comic relief? Go see Five Women Wearing the Same Dress put on by Hofstra’s own Drama and Dance Department. Performances will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Black Box Theater.
Can you believe we’re already planning for next year? Student Affairs is now taking nominations for this year’s Fall Fest! Submit you idea here and you might just see your idea come to life in the Parade of Floats. Nominations will take place through Wednesday. April 17th, at 4:00 p.m.
