Hey collegiates, it’s the holiday season at Hofstra! Get ready to get festive while rocking the upcoming finals week!

The tree lighting is this Tuesday night! It starts at 5:00pm in front of Hofstra Hall and will include student performances and a reception in the Student Center following the ceremony. Gather up your friends and help the Hofstra community get in the holiday spirit.

Don’t miss the last Thursday Night Live of the semester! If you’re feeling stressed, this will be a great way to relax and laugh it off. The show will be in Studio A in the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at 9:00 p.m. Support our own comedians and get the chance to see Hofstra’s very own, Blue Lenex perform live. Can’t make it Studio A? Stream it live from your room on channel 34!

This is the last week of classes which means it’s stressbusters time! And yes, PET THERAPY IS BACK! Be sure to make some time for yourself during this crazy time whether it means snuggling up with the dogs, getting a free massage, or enjoying some free food. Keegan Bedinger is the new Week Ahead Section Editor. She is a sophomore studying journalism and psychology. Keegan is also a staff member at WRHU and a member of She’s the First on campus. Rachel is a senior at Hofstra University where she majors in journalism with minors in fine arts photography and creative writing. The Rochester, NY native is involved in several organizations on campus including the Hofstra chapters of Ed2010 and She's the First. She is also an RA in a freshman residence hall. Rachel has interned at College Lifestyles, Cosmopolitan, The Knot Magazine, and is now interning at Us Weekly. She hopes to someday fulfill her dreams of being an editor at a magazine.
