Hey collegiates! Here’s whats happening this week:

 

Want to get a great internship next semester? This week is your chance to network! Don’t miss Hofstra Radio Alumni Assocation’s Fall Round Robin this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th floor of the library. Or check out PRSSA’s 7th Annual Networking Dinner at 7:00 in Plaza Room Middle. Make sure you register before both events. Get those resumes ready and and get ready to make a great impression!

 

Help kick off the basketball season by cheering on the women’s team as they take on Fordham this Friday night at 7:00 in the Mack Arena. Go Pride!

 

If sports aren’t your thing, stop by Karaoke Night to sing your heart out! Showcase your talent this Friday in Hof USA from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Break a leg!

 

If you’re not musically or athletically inclined… don’t fret because there’s a chocolate tasting this Friday night. Be sure to get your tickets in advance from your friends in Phi Sigma Sigma. Nothing better than spening a Friday night in with chocolate. Am I right ladies?!

Rachel is a senior at Hofstra University where she majors in journalism with minors in fine arts photography and creative writing. The Rochester, NY native is involved in several organizations on campus including the Hofstra chapters of Ed2010 and She's the First. She is also an RA in a freshman residence hall. Rachel has interned at College Lifestyles, Cosmopolitan, The Knot Magazine, and is now interning at Us Weekly. She hopes to someday fulfill her dreams of being an editor at a magazine.
