The Ultimate Hofstra Spring Break Survival Guide

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

Over here at HC Hofstra, we are gearing up for Spring Break, which is only a few weeks away! To help us prepare, some of Her Campus’s national sponsors have sent us some goodies to help us survive the fun and relaxing week ahead. What’s in your Spring Break survival kit?

1. Keep safe with SABRE personal alarm!

This super loud personal alarm is easy to set off if you need to be heard quickly, and it also has a built-in LED light for navigating dimly-lit areas. While you should never travel alone on spring break, this alarm is always a good idea to keep on hand just in case!

2. Staying home? Treat yourself to a Chipotle burrito!

Who cares if bikini season is right around the corner? We say, TREAT YOSELF!

3. Put on your Her Campus sunglasses and keep your drink cool in a pink koozie.

Protect your eyes from the bright sun if you’re vacationing on a beach, and keep your drink cool in one of HC’s adorable pink koozies!

4. Try out Completely Bare‘s sample wax pack.

Your bikini line might depend on this “no heat, no fuss, no mess” DIY wax kit!

5. Get healthy hair with Not Your Mother’s Hair Care.

The Clean Freak Purifying shampoo and conditioner is just what you need to keep your hair healthy and smelling amazing on your spring break.

6. Throw these fun beach reads in your beachbag!

Dirty Rush by Taylor Bell is all about that sorority girl who wrote the crazy email – yes, you know the one – and The Intern’s Handbook by Shane Kuhn is about an intern’s tasks being taken a little too far. Nothing like a little drama for your plane ride or relaxing afternoon on the beach!

7. Curve your hunger at the beach with a Luna Bar!

Never drink on an empty stomach! Pack some Luna Bars for your spring break trip so you’ll always have a sweet pick-me-up just when you need it.

Don’t these items all sound awesome?! Keep a look out on the HC Hofstra Facebook page and Twitter account for opportunities to win everything in this post!
