Fall is the one of the busiest times of the year for music.  Albums, EP’s, and singles are releasing left and right. I’m writing this extremely important article to inform you which new releases are worth listening to, so get your headphones ready!

Norman Fucking Rockwell! by Lana Del Rey

The first top album is Norman Fucking Rockwell! by Lana Del Rey (are we surprised?).  This album is a true rollercoaster-of-emotions masterpiece. Put in your headphones, light a candle, grab a glass of wine and imagine yourself in a 60’s rom-com film. Now say it with me, “Thank you Lana!”

I Really Wish I Hated You by Blink 182

Next is Blink-182’s EP I Really Wish I Hated YouThis album is full of nostalgia; you might as well pull out your black eyeliner and brush the dust off your old black converse before you start listening.  I had the great privilege of seeing them live this summer (my middle school self was screaming) and one of their EP songs Blame It On My Youth makes you want to scream the lyrics (which I did while drooling over THE Travis Barker).

Trust Fall/Just Like A Movie EP by Wallows

Two words. Wallow’s EP. I cannot stress enough how much I am in love with this band.  Despite being obsessed with their lead singer Dylan Minnette (yes, Clay from 13 Reasons Why), I am obsessed with their new two song EP.  Their song Just Like A Movie sounds quite literally like a magical 2000’s 10 Things I Hate About You’ rom-com.

Hollywood’s Bleeding by Post Malone

Post Malone released a new album named Hollywood’s Bleeding and I was not disappointed after listeningThis album is very versatile, similar to his other ones, with a song for every mood.  My personal favorites are Enemies (A great pre-game jam), Allergic, Take What You Want (It features Ozzy Osbourne… are you kidding?), and I Know (solely for the Jonas Brothers shoutout).

I hope you take the time out of your busy school schedules to listen to these new albums and broaden your music taste!  Bring up Wallow’s in your next conversation for some hipster points ;)
