Did you have a fashion role models growing up?

Not really because I was a very big tomboy. My mom always wore scrubs and I’m the oldest surrounded by little brothers. I loved Lizzie McGuire. I liked how she took whatever was in style and made it her own. And I liked all the quirky stuff she wore without being super girly.

In only a few words, how would you describe your style?

Girly, vintage, and lace.

Do you have a “go to” outfit you can’t live without?

Yes! I always wear my floral dress with tights, pink flats, and a sweater. I usually wear a chambray denim shirt on top. It looks good but I literally just threw it on! I like floral and I like dresses.

Do you look for style inspiration in fashion magazines or other outside sources?

I read HerCampus fashion blogs! But I do watch YouTube. Zoella is my girl! Everything about her is flawless.

What are your favorite places to go shopping?

Forever 21. I go thrift shopping a lot too, usually for sweaters.

Any tips for thrift shopping?

It’s the place to go for sweaters. Go with an idea of what you want in mind or else there is literally so much stuff you won’t find anything! Especially if you go to crazy ones. There’s this one in Queens where you go and they time you and they’re like “go!” and it’s by the pound. It’s crazy! It’s the one where Macklemore raps about. Just go with an open mind and know what you want.

Have you heard any style tips you will never forget?

One time my friend told me, “The worst you feel the better you should dress because it makes you feel better!”
