What made you interested in Hofstra?

The School of Communications is really good.

What are you involved with on campus?

I work in event management, I am in Delta Phi Epsilon where I am the homecoming chair, I’m on the Greek Week committee, I’m the president of IFSC, I’m in Lambda Pi Eta – the communications honor society, I’m in Phi eta sigma honor society, and I used to work at academic records and be a welcome week leader. It’s a lot!

You are incolved in so much, how are you able to manage your time?

I prioritize my calendar and delegate tasks to people for the times I cannot be in two places at once. I find it best to take it one day at a time in efforts to not be overwhelmed.

Have you always been involved during your time in college? Was there anything that motivated you to be so involved?

Joining a sorority my freshman year made me realize how much potential I had and all the things I had to offer. I decided to join the Greek Week committee because of my love for sports and then I was opened up to all the opportunities that Hofstra had and I took advantage of them.

Where do you see yourself ten years from now?

I hope to be successful in my on screen career, and still be active in my community.

Do you have any leadership advice to other aspiring leaders?

My advice is that you’re not alone. Don’t be afraid to take on a task for fear of failure. And don’t be afraid to know your strengths and use them to your advantage. I could say a cliché saying, but really life’s just what you make it!
