Major/Minors: Dance Major/Psych Minor

What are you involved in on campus?

I am the president of MoVoM, the dance program club here at Hofstra, and the president of Hofstra’s chapter of National Honor Society for Dance Arts. I am a member of Danceworks, which I’ve both performed with and choreographed for.

What made you decide to come to Hofstra?

The number one reason I chose Hofstra was its prime location. I knew that being close to NYC would be really important for my career, and I knew it would be a great resource. Secondly, the amazing faculty made me want to be a part of this amazing program. They are all professionals in the industry, and they care so much about their students!

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Energetic, quirky, happy

Favorite inspirational quote?

“If you can dream it, you can do it” Walt Disney

Best class you’ve taken at Hofstra?

That’s probably a three way tie. I took sociology of gender and absolutely loved the material, it was so eye opening. Second, I took positive psychology and it was absolutely life changing. I’ve become a much happier, less stressed out person, since it’s one of those classes that you can apply everything you’re learning to your life! Lastly I’m currently in a ballroom dance class and it’s such a blast!

What’s your favorite book?

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

What’s your strangest talent?

I don’t really have any strange talents, but I’m a legendary burper.

What is the best concert/show/play you’ve ever been to?

The best show I’ve ever seen would probably be Newsies on Broadway. I saw it twice, and each time I was just as blown away. The set, the costumes, the music, the choreography… The talent was astounding. I’m still not over it!

I'm a senior Theatre Arts Production major at Hofstra University. I'm almost always at rehearsal, reading plays, seeing plays, blogging about plays, or fangirling over plays. My likes include giraffes, Britney Spears, American history and coffee.
