What made you decide to come to Hofstra?

I came to Hofstra seeking a place to start a new adventure. I loved their theater department and I knew that being close to New York City would launch me into a world that I had never experience before.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Oh boy, well let’s see: caring, lively, and spontaneous.

Favorite inspirational quote?

“A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer; it sings because it has a song.” – Maya Angelou

Most played song?

Something by Fleetwood Mac probably. I think “Little Lies” is one of my most repeated songs right now.

Dream Job?

First, I would want to become an actress, film or stage, and then use my platform as a performer to advocate for environmental change, mental illness awareness, and equality for all people.

Favorite on campus spot?

The fitness center is one of my favorite places to go, because I can clear my head, get a good sweat going, and temporarily forget about the stresses of life.

If you could win a lifetime supply of anything you choose, what would it be?

Laughs. I love being able to make people laugh as well as laugh myself. Lifetime supply of laughter can cure anything!

Most unique hobby?

I love to paint. Doesn’t mean I’m a new-age Picasso or anything, but it’s the one activity I can do with nothing attached. I can paint for me and only me.

I'm a senior Theatre Arts Production major at Hofstra University. I'm almost always at rehearsal, reading plays, seeing plays, blogging about plays, or fangirling over plays. My likes include giraffes, Britney Spears, American history and coffee.
