Sidney Madden, one of HC Hofstra’s Campus Correspondents, is a rising junior at Hofstra University majoring in journalism and sociology. In addition to being one of the CC’s for Hofstra’s chapter, Sidney is a contributor for the national Her Campus site. Sidney has contributed and interned for such publications as Patch.com, Cosmopolitan.com and The Dallas Morning News. On campus, she is also an active member in the Hofstra Association of Black Journalists and the Society of Collegiate Journalists and loves dancing with her school’s hip-hop team, Imani Dance Ensemble. Rachel Crocetti is the other Campus Correspondent for HC Hofstra. She is a sophomore double majoringin Journalism and Photography. Rachel is an intern at College Lifestyles, a member of Hofstra’s chapter of She’s the First, Ed2010 and Hall Council. Keegan Bedinger is the new Week Ahead Section Editor. She is a sophomore studying journalism and psychology. Keegan is also a staff member at WRHU and a member of She’s the First on campus. Joycelyn Dempsey is Hofstra’s new Fundraising Chair. She is a junior studying public relations with a minor in fine arts. Jasmine Phillips is Hofstra’s new Social Media Chair. She is a junior studying Journalism and Dance. Aside from Her Campus, Jasmine is the Public Relations Chair as well as Dancer of Imani Dance Ensemble. Nikki Maniscalco is Hofstra’s Campus Couture Section Editor. She is a senior majoring in English and Publishing Studies with a minor in Journalism. On campus, she is also involved in Ed2012, Nexus Yearbook, and a Communications Volunteer for the 2012 Presidential Debate. Off campus, she is an editorial intern at The Daily Meal. Her hobbies, aside from writing, include photography, cooking, spending more money on clothes and shoes than she should, and enjoying every second of college life with her friends before she graduates in the spring.
Dilpreet Kainth is Hofstra’s Campus Celebrity Section Editor. She’s a junior Broadcast Journalism major, with an English minor. Dilpreet is from Long Island and loves everything about Journalism. After she graduates, she hopes to be broadcasting and working for a morning show. Dilpreet is an associate producer at WRHU, radio Hofstra University. Whenever she’s home, she loves to see her family, friends and kitty.
