Manicure Monday: Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

October is the month of fall, Halloween and it is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In women, breast cancer is the second leading cause of death, with one in eight women being diagnosed with breast cancer throughout their lifetime.  If you’d like more information on the disease and how to prevent it, vist the  National Breast Cancer website.  In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month I was inspired by pink and sparkles in my mainucure this week.

For my manicure I used, Sheek White, Go Girl, and Night Shimmer along with rhinestones and a gel polish base and top coat.
