Let’s face it, makeup can be really expensive. As much as we love the dream of an unlimited Sephora shopping spree, the reality is that sometimes our wallets are smaller than our dreams. But have no fear! There are plenty of great quality yet inexpensive options for makeup out there and here’s how you can get a full look of great products for under $50!

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation – $5.47 (Target)

This foundation is so reliable and rightfully so. It is an excellent value for the price and gives great coverage. The product range is quite large with 35 shades all together and two different finishes (matte + poreless or dewy + smooth) so you are sure to find the foundation that fits you (hence the name)!

Colourpop No Filter Concealer – $6.50 (Ulta)

This concealer comes in 30 shades including a variety of undertones to suit all skin types. It is great coverage for under the eyes and general blemishes and is an excellent price for such a good quality concealer!

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer – $8.69 (Target)

This bronzer is a fan favorite among beauty influencers, and it is clear to see why. It is easy to blend, so smooth, and is the perfect neutral tone bronzer with a slight sheen to make you look like you are glowing! Also, it smells like coconuts and the beach and just general happiness which is reason in itself to purchase it.

Maybelline Fit Me Blush – $4.49 (Target)

There is a reason why the fit me line is featured twice on this list and that is because the products are so reliable. They have a fairly extensive range of blush shades ranging from bubble gum pinks to coral reds. They are matte and very pigmented and add the splash of color to your cheeks for a healthy and beautiful look.

 e.l.f. Highlighting stick – $4.00 (e.l.f cosmetics)

This highlighter is the perfect everyday shimmer that melts into the skin for a natural glow. It comes in a few different colors and provides a beautiful sheen to the skin that is not over glittery or blinding with pigment. It comes in stick formation and is so easy to apply exactly where you want the glow.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow – $6.00 (Ulta)

Smooth like butter yet no quite a cream product, these shadows are truly one of a kind. There are dozens of gorgeous shades to choose from ranging from ultra-glitters to ultra-metallics and mattes. These shadows are super pigmented and very easy to blend for a quick day to day look and also super buildable for a night out.

   L’oreal Lash Paradise Mascara – $6.29 (Target)

This mascara gives volume, length, and a gorgeous fullness to the lashes and has the effect of falsies. It’s a holy grail, best-of-the-best mascara that is worth much more than its price point! If you haven’t tried this yet you need to ASAP. It is crazy good.

e.l.f. eyebrow gel – $5.00 (Target)

Two words for this one. Game. Changer. At this price point, this brow gel cannot be beat. It comes in lear as well as a variety of tints to suit all hair colors and keep those stubborn little brow hairs all in place. The tiny wand helps to easily go over each hair and address all the areas that need attention for beautiful brows that will stay all day long.

Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer – $3.49 (Target)

This lippie will give your lips just a hint of color and shimmer for a perfect everyday look. Besides the fact that it is super compact and easy to take on the go for touch ups throughout the day, it is made of 100% natural ingredients so you know that what you are putting on your lips will be good for you! Think of it as an upgraded balm that your lips (and wallet) will love.

Grand total: $49.93

Whew! Just made it under $50! There are definitely some honorable mentions that could easily be added to this list, including the e.l.f $2 brow pencil and the Essence I love Color eyeshadow primer for only $3.49, but the products that made the cut are truly beyond their price point in value. So, next time you are needing a makeup product or are itching to try out something different, you don’t have to spend a fortune. Some of the best beauty products out there will not empty out your wallet- but they will fill up your makeup bag!
