The transition from summer to fall means a complete 360 with your wardrobe. Shorts turn into leggings, bikinis turn into sweaters, and flip-flops turn into boots. Bright colors are out and the deeper colors are in. Looking to build your fall wardrobe but not sure where to start? Take a look at some of the hottest outfits to be seen this fall.

One of my favorite go to outfits for comfort is the legging with the oversized sweater. The great thing about this combination is you can keep it casual or dress it up. Accessories can change it all. Keep it casual with a scarf and some moccasins; you don’t need much to look cute and be comfortable. On the other hand, you can dress it up. Taking a simple sweater, you can add a chunky necklace, throw on some cute knee-high socks and a pair of boots, and you’ve got an outfit appropriate for a date in the park.

Another outfit that looks great is pairing jeans with a blazer and a scarf. This is another kind of outfit that can be kept simple or dressed up. By replacing your jeans with dress pants this outfit is perfect for more important events. This outfit can be dressed up with a scarf or a necklace, and can look good with tall boots or flats.

Your key items this season will be sweaters, jeans, leggings, and of course boots. And remember that any outfit can be simplified or made more formal with a change in accessories!
