Cristina’s ByteOfFashion: Faux Fur Coats

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

Even though we feel like fall just started, winter will start creeping up on us soon. This means you’re going to start shopping for coats, or maybe you already are! A faux fur coat is a statement piece for your closet this fall/winter. This trend is HUGE!

These coats automatically give you an elegant look without really trying. My favorite look is a hip length faux fur coats with a plain black top and jeans.

Fall is all about layering and furry coats will allow you to do this. I’ve seen faux fur coats in almost every color. Some of the most popular colors are white, light pink, red, navy and printed. These coats also come in various lengths but short waist-length coats look youthful.

I mention faux fur coats because they are an alternative to real fur but are still in-style!
