Her Campus Hofstra: Where do you like to shop?

Rachel Klein: My favorite places are Forever 21, Torrid, Kohl’s and Fashion to Figure. Fashion to Figure is in Massapequa Mall on Long Island, it’s a very cheap store actually but they make plus size clothing and I happen to be a plus size girl so I really like this store.

HCH: You mentioned you were a plus size girl, do you have any fashion tips for other plus size collegiettes?

RK: Plus size girls really need to stick to A-line styles because when they wear poufy outfits it makes them look wider than they already are, not saying that they are already wide it just depends how your body type. Personally for me, I know if I wear something that is not A-line it just looks like my hips are wider. Also, bold colors are great! But just wear anything that makes you feel comfortable and most importantly feel beautiful!

HCH: As the weather is getting colder what you most looking forward to style wise?

RK: Sweatpants! I wear a lot of sweatpants and Uggs. I’m really big into scarves so I’m really excited to start wearing them again. I also love winter jackets.  And I can’t forget Leggings. Everyone loves leggings; they make your butt look good!

HCH: Comfort vs. style which do you choose?

RK: I 110% chose comfort. Today is a day I actually decided to wear clothes but normally I just dress for comfort. But I guess today I’m comfortable too so I get the best of both worlds!
