5 Ways to Style Leggings to be Cute and Comfy for Class

Trying to dress for online classes seems almost impossible. On one hand, you want to be cute and accessorized, but on the other hand, it seems more logical to show up in sweats. The solution to this problem seems so simple: leggings. These comfy, yet classic pair of pants can easily be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. Leggings are your path to looking chic while feeling your best comfortable self. Below I've listed five ways to style your leggings in hopes of inspiring your new favorite outfit.

Oversized Sweatshirt

Wearing an oversized sweatshirt is one of the most comfortable ways to style leggings. When in doubt just throw this outfit on and look adorable while feeling great.

Crop Top and Jacket/Sweatshirt

Any crop top would work here, but if you have one that matches your leggings that's even better. Having the same print on both your top and bottom makes you look extremely put together so effortlessly.

Button Up Top

Adding a cute button up blouse can take any pair of leggings from casual to professional in a heartbeat.

Fluffy Jacket

You can add any oversized fluffy jacket to the mix and any outfit will automatically go from a 5 to a 10.

Flannel and Sneakers

Now that it's "fall" it is time to take those flannels out from the back of your closet! Pairing any colored flannel with black leggings, sneakers and a beanie will make you look amazing while staying comfortable.

With the uncertainty of when life will go back to normal, I highly recommend investing in a good pair of leggings. Who knows when we will start going out again, so stay comfy and try these outfits.

Kayla is a junior at Hofstra University, majoring in journalism and minoring in creative writing and public relations. She has a passion for writing and traveling. A future aspiration of hers consists of becoming a travel writer, or working for a magazine. If you ever need to find her, I recommend checking the mall because she loves spending all her money on clothes that she doesn't need. When not shopping, she can be found watching something on Disney Plus(probably Tangled).
