1. Madonna

I’ll be the first one to say it out loud, I’ve never been a huge Madonna fan, even though I have enjoyed her classics like, “Vogue” and “Open Your Heart.” With that in mind, I am absolutely digging her newest album, “Rebel Heart.” “Living for Love” has become my go to song for working out, driving or just relaxing. Expect to hear her greatest hits ranging from, “Like a Virgin” to “Hung Up.” One thing is guaranteed though: you’ll be amazed at how good she is live twenty years later.

Where to see her:Madison Square Garden: September 16thMadison Square Garden: September 17thBarclays Center: September 19th

2. Hozier

Without a doubt, Hozier has been one of the best new artists from this year. From his number one single, “Take Me to Church” to his sultry performance of “From Eden” (which also happens to be one of my favorite songs this year) his concert is going to be legendary. What makes him and his concerts so spectacular is his ability to create an intimate space, even in a large setting, where you can connect with him. This is an absolute must see!

Where to see him:Radio City Music Hall: September 29th

3. Eli Young Band

If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I’m a huge country fan. I pretty much like everyone, but have been digging this band for so long. While I have not been to their concert yet, I’ve heard nothing but great things. They treat each show like it’s their final performance and really do give 110%. They adore their fans and show it at their concerts. Plus, they’re music is so catchy!

Where to see them:Terminal 5: September 20th

4. The Weeknd

Ever since his single, “Earned It” from the Fifty Shades of Grey landed, The Weeknd has been one of the most sought after performers. He’s booked numerous gigs and just recently released his new album, “Beauty Behind the Madness.” Everything he does is amazing. His songs are sexy; he’s a well-dressed guy and sure knows how to bring out a large crowd. This is the do not miss concert before the year-ends. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Where to see him:Madison Square Garden: November 16thBarclays Center: November 18th

5. Power 105.1 Presents: Powerhouse

Kendrick Lamar. Big Sean. Trey Songz. Just to name a few of the rappers who will be performing at this concert. These tend to be the best type of concerts since you get to see not one, not two and not even three performers, but more. It’s serendipitous and makes you never want to leave. You’ll hear all of the best rap songs of the year, and there might even be a special guest performer!!

When to see this:Barclays Center: October 22nd

With these shows and many more, you’re bound to find one of your favorite artists in New York soon! Get your tickets and be prepared to have the time of your life!
