5 Ideas If You’re Staying in on Valentines Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

1. Cooking your meal.

Instead of going out to an expensive dinner, try cooking at home. You can cook dinner together or surprise him with his favorite meal. Heart shaped burgers or pizza would be a cute, festive hit. Choosing one of these yummy red drinks to make from this website would be fun too!

2. Movie night.

Cuddle up on the couch and watch a romantic movie, or if he’s not into that watch something you’ll both enjoy. What matters is that you’re spending the holiday together.

3. Bake romantic sweets.

Bake heart shaped cookies. As if there wasn’t enough heart-shaped things around already! You could even decorate them together with pink icing and sprinkles.

4. Try your hand at being a masseuse.

Give each other a massage, candles and rose petals included. This is the perfect sensual activity for your night in.

5. Set up a picnic.

Have a Valentine’s Day picnic. Order delivery from your favorite restaurant, then light some candles and eat your meal together on the living room floor.
