5 Fall Inspired Drinks to Try (Besides the PSL)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

Fall: the season of sweaters, leggings, leaves changing, and all things pumpkin, especially the Pumpkin Spiced Latte (PSL for short). But what are you supposed to do when you’re PSL-ed out!? Here are five go-to options for when you want something to drink and are in the ~fall~ mood.

Maple Pecan Latte (available at Starbucks & Dunkin Donuts)

The Maple Pecan Latte is the newest fall drink this year and it just might be more popular than the PSL (shocker, right!?) With flavors of maple syrup, pecan, and brown butter, this delectably sweet treat is pretty much Canada in a cup.

Salted Caramel Mocha (available at Starbucks)

One of my personal favorites during the fall season! The salty, but sweet aroma makes your heart feel warm as you sip from the cup. Also, the baristas sprinkle salt and caramel bits on top of the drink, adding for a bit of crunch that is the perfect touch for this enticing drink.

Dark Mocha Frappucino (available at Starbucks)

If the Mocha Frappucino wasn’t popular enough, Starbucks decided to one-up themselves and bring customers a twist on the classic drink, now using dark chocolate rather than milk chocolate. It is a dream come true for any dark chocolate lovers out there. Plus, the frappucino blend is the perfect option for those warmer fall days.

Caramel Apple Spice (available at Starbucks)

Not in the mood for coffee? The Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks is a prime go-to. The sweet caramel taste combined with the tart granny smith apple flavor, it’s as if you’re eating a caramel apple.

Pumpkin Cold Brew Almond Milk Latte (available at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf)

Still a fan of pumpkin, but want to try something new? The Pumpkin Cold Brew Almond Milk Latte is your next favorite drink then! The Cold Brew makes the coffee creamy and not bitter and the almond milk provides those that are dairy free with a great fall drink option! But, you certainly don’t have to be dairy free to try this delicious pumpkin drink!
