16 Stages of Coming Back to Hofstra

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

1.     The morning of move-in day, you are filled with anticipation

2.     You greet your roommates you have not seen all summer with excitement like it has been years

3.     You realize you brought way more clothes than college furniture could handle

4.     The first night at Hofstra is not official until you have hit up the bars

5.     And you know the night is not concluded until you hit up Campus Pizza, Popeye’s, or Hof USA on the way back

6.     You cannot decide which you missed more; fishbowls from McHebes or the brownie sundae from Hof USA

7.     The first time you hear an alarm clock in four months, and you want to die

8.     Classes start, but you are not worried because it is still syllabus week

9.     You realize how much you did NOT miss campus food

10.  Or the slow walkers on the unispan

11.  That awkward moment when you see your ex on campus

12.  You remember how hyped you are for Ladies Night on Thursdays

13.  Or even better; Happy Hour on Fridays

14.  Or basically any excuse to go out

15.  After the first week back at school, the money you saved all summer is basically gone

And by the second week of school, you know it is back to reality
