Feeling tired & struggling to eat your greens? Here are three smoothie recipes for that vitamin boost!

Lemon & Celery

  • 1 lemon
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • a handful of spinach
  • ginger (optional)
  • 1 banana (optional)

Add water to your preference and blend everything. This green miracle is filled with fiber and vitamin c.

 

Turmeric-Chili-Redcurrant

  • 0,5-1 dl of redcurrants
  • turmeric (fresh or dried) to taste
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 lemon (optional)
  • 1 orange (or other sweet fruit)
  • 0,5-1 fresh chili (optional)

This one’s perfect for those tired, low motivation mornings and afternoons. I find that the ccombination of chili and turmeric really gives me some extra energy. Just blend everything with water (or fruit juice, if you need some extra extra anergy) and enjoy!

 

After-Gym Treat

  • 1-2 scoops of protein powder (I recommend chocolate or vanilla flavour)
  • 4-6 dates
  • 1 dl of hazelnut milk
  • 1 banana (optional)
  • cinnamon

A little twist on your normal protein-shake, this after-gym treat will keep you energised and give you that protein you need to build those muscles! Just blend everything and add some water (or plant milk of your choice) if needed.
