Chocolate is the cure for everything! As spring is finally getting off to a good start, the amount of exams and school deadlines is exponentially increasing as well. This is the right time to abide to the ancient wisdom of “treat yo self”. When all the stress and school-induced anxiety gets too overwhelming, take a break and try out this sinfully good chocolate pie to pamper yourself!

Ingredients:

1 package of shortcrust pastry

150 g dark chocolate

100 g milk chocolate

200 g butter

3 egg yolks

2 eggs

50 g sugar

100 g flour

Pre-bake the pastry in a tart pan and let it cool. Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Add butter and melt it with the chocolate. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the eggs, egg yolks and sugar. Mix well. Add the flour in parts and mix gently into the mixture. Pour the mixture over the pastry and bake in 150C for 20-25 mins.

Let the pie cool for a bit and then serve with a touch of whipped cream. Enjoy!
