If you guessed Kyndall Garlington, pat yourself on the back. Kyndall is a sophomore, biology pre-med major, hailing all the way from ATL. Her Campus caught up with Kyndall recently to pick her brain on a selection of topics. To find out what Kyndall had to say, keep on reading!
HC: If you could describe yourself using a color, what color would you choose and why? K: I would choose yellow because I’m a really bright, fun, and cheery person. Plus, that’s my favorite color!
HC: What is one prized possession you would never get rid of? K: My clothes! I could never get rid of my clothes because my clothes make me who I am, and I just love fashion. I love looking cute.
HC: If you could spend a day with any celebrity, who would you choose and why? K: I would choose Frank Ocean because that is my favorite artist in the entire world. I love Frank Ocean. I know every song by him. He’s my favorite artist ever.
HC: Throughout your tenure at Hampton University, what is the biggest lesson you’ve learned? K: I’ve learned that everyone is not your friend, and everyone doesn’t care for you the way you think they do. You’ve got to be able to stand alone and be on your own.
HC: What is one thing that you would change about today’s society? K: I would change the prominence of technology. Everyone is always on their phones all of the time. I wish we lived in a world where there was little to no technology because it’s just too much. I get tired of it.
HC: What is your biggest fear? K: My biggest fear is failure. I don’t want to be unsuccessful in life.
HC: As a child, what did you want you want to be when you grew up? Have your career aspirations changed? K: I always knew that I wanted to be a doctor, and I still want to be a doctor to this day. I feel like there’s nothing else out there for me, and I love the medical field
