The holiday season is upon us, and that usually means gatherings with plenty of yummy treats. If you don’t have much baking experience or you’re short on time, you can still make something delicious for holiday parties! Here are 5 easy holiday recipes that everyone will love to nibble on.

Crazy Dipped Pretzel Rods by Very Best Baking

Chocolate dipped pretzel sticks are a holiday classic! This recipe doesn’t even need a stove—just a microwave and fridge. Adding sprinkles or chocolate drizzle on top makes these yummy treats even better. The total time to make these is estimated at just 10 minutes, perfect for when you’re in a hurry!

Peppermint Bark by Delish

Peppermint bark is my favorite holiday candy, and it turns out to be really simple to make! Though this recipe recommends melting the chocolate on the stove, it can also be microwaved. Anyone can make this—all you need to do is melt and spread the chocolate and mix in some crushed peppermints. Easy-peasy!

Easy Sugar Cookies by The Cake Mix Doctor

This cookie recipe only has 4 ingredients and can be decorated with colored sugar to look extra-festive. Everything from The Cake Mix Doctor is delicious—I own two of her cookbooks! Since the base is a cake mix, this recipe is a lot less intimidating for novice bakers than most from-scratch cookie recipes. The recipe calls for The Cake Mix Doctor brand cake mix, but you can use any kind.

Fannie May Fudge by Shugary Sweets

This recipe requires a lot more ingredients than the previous ones I included, but it’s still very simple to make. It makes 5 pounds of fudge, so you can gift it to everyone you know! What’s really great is that you don’t need a candy thermometer. Once everything is melted and whisked together, it just needs to be refrigerated for a few hours to set.

Holiday Tree Brownies by Betty Crocker

These adorable Christmas tree brownies are easy to make and fun to decorate! Simply bake a boxed brownie mix and then cut the brownies into triangles instead of squares. Frosting, sprinkles, and candies transform them into delicious little evergreens. These would be extra fun to make with friends, because everyone can let their creativity run wild when decorating!

No matter the occasion, you can find a perfect treat to bake and share. These easy recipes are no less delicious than the super-involved recipes for experienced bakers. Everyone will enjoy eating these yummy holiday confections, but gathering with friends and family is the real treat.
