It’s December and tis’ the season to be merry. While we’re trimming our trees and eating our turkey, spring break is getting closer each day. After winter break we’ll only have two and a half months until spring break. According to American Council on Exercise, how fast you see results from doing squats depends on your: fitness level, size, training regimen and genetics. However results are typically seen in 4-6 weeks.

When being completely honest, we know it’s hard to stay consistent with squats. They’re annoying but the results (a booty like J-Lo), make it worth the work.

So this winter break make it your priority to fit squats into your routine, do them after a shower, (they’re fun to do naked), before you go to bed or first thing in the morning. Just do it!

Make your best friend do squats with you! Having someone to keep you accountable for the next two months will help you both have that dream bod you want on the beach.

The biggest thing that discourages women from following through with their squat challenge, is feeling like they aren’t doing the workout correctly and not seeing results.

Here’s the proper way to do your squats according to Google:

Keep your back straight, with your neutral spine, and your chest and shoulders up. Keep looking straight ahead at a pin-pointed spot on the wall. As you squat down, focus on keeping your knees in line with your feet. Many new lifters need to focus on pushing their knees out so they track with their feet.
