Danika Morrison (class of 2019) truly embodies the spirit of Gonzaga in every way. She is involved with Gonzaga University Specialized Recreation (GUSR), active in Friendship Friday, and is a new member of CLP. Danika has an incredibly warm and welcoming heart and is passionate about all she does. She spreads love and joy throughout campus and undoubtedly has the heart of a Zag.

Major: Sociology and Communication Studies double major with a (possible) Promotions minor

What is your favorite quote?

Danika Morrison: I don’t really have a favorite quote! I think words are beautiful and capable of so much, though. One quote that I really enjoy and that serves as a reminder for me is from Brené Brown: “Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.”

What is your favorite TV show?

DM: Currently? House, M.D.

Do you have a dream job?

DM: Anything working with people and somewhere I can be creative! People are my passion and I love being able to work with them and create.

What is your favorite Instagram filter?

DM: I don’t use any of them. I edit my photos with VSCO!

How would you describe the perfect pizza?

DM: One of those cookie pizzas; the ones the size of your face with gooey chocolate chip cookies. I like my sweets!
