Midterms. We came, we saw, we might have conquered. The next few weeks hold, for anxious college students, the reveal of mid-semester grades.

Mid-semester grades often come as a progress report and as a hint that it’s time to schedule a meeting with your academic advisor. Registration will be taking place soon, and next semester’s schedule needs to be planned. However, there’s one problem…

After midterms, motivation is often lacking. The previous weeks were filled with late nights, numerous cups of coffee and cramming pages upon pages of information into your brain. It is becoming difficult to concentrate, assignments keep piling up, and the dreary weather is not helping.

If you are feeling like you are running out of steam, here are a few things to keep in mind during the last half of the fall semester:

1. There are 15 weeks in one semester, and we have already reached the halfway point!

2. Registration is coming, take advantage of the time and plan ahead! Make several schedules and look into classes that you find interesting.

3. The more time you spend on preparation and reviewing now, the less stressed you will be later!

4. Do not work hard just for your professors or parents, do it for yourself too. You can do this!

5. Remember, the closer we are to the end of the semester, the closer we are to Christmas! Just take it week by week.

We are amost there, Zags! Keep up the great work!
