Hi Zags! This week we have partnered with the executive team from Her Campus ASU to highlight how amazing they are and the magnificent work that their chapter has accomplished this semester. Today we are meeting the lovely Quinn Blake!
Quinn is currently a freshman from Phoenix, AZ that works as the Social Media Coordinator for HC ASU. She is studying Computer Information Systems and has a minor in Digital Culture… one smart cookie! Although Quinn and I have only emailed, I can tell by her responses we would get along very well and she is extremely easy going. Here are some fun facts about Quinn!

Perfect Pizza: My absolute favorite is the roasted corn pizza from La Grande Orange (a restaurant near my house). It has sourdough crust, sweet corn, tomato, goat cheese, and basil. Soo good!
Bucket List Item: To become a certified yoga instructor.
Last Book (not for school): Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

Spirit Animal: When she takes the spirit animal quizzes online she always get an owl. She said that she believes it’s accurate because she prefers to sit back and listen and observe.

Favorite thing about ASU: They have a huge student population (82,000)! It makes it so easy to meet all different kinds of people and there’s always something fun going on.

Why she decide to go to ASU? “Because of the super cheap in-state tuition and Barrett (the Honors College) perks. With the money I’m saving, I am studying abroad as much as I can! I chose to study in Germany and Switzerland this summer, and am planning on going to Australia for spring semester next year.”
What’s Quinn’s fav thing about HC ASU? “They just launched at the beginning of this semester, so their chapter is still trying to gain members and a following on campus. It has been so much fun getting to know every member of the club personally as it grows and getting the opportunity to be on the e-board!”
Tell us something about ASU that makes it special/not everyone would know. “There are so many great restaurants on and near campus. It is super easy to find any kind of food you is craving! I also love having my car at school and driving around the beautiful mountains and desert areas near campus.
