Have you found yourself at the point where all of your clothes don’t quite fit the weather shift that has occurred the past few weeks? I definitely have! Here are my spring fashion staple items for the shopping trip that desperately needs to happen to adjust your wardrobe.
1. Sunnies
A cute pair of sunglasses is essential now that the sun has appeared again. Overcast weather is the usual for most of the school year and walking to class squinting against bright sunlight is a true struggle right now. Make sure to grab a pair of black or silver sunnies that you can wear with any outfit.
2. Jackets for Layering
Want to wear a dress but not freeze on you way to an 8 AM? A cute denim or leather coat should do the trick. The nice thing about these two options is that they are warm, and can also go with a variety of colors so no need to change your favorite outfit!
3. Fly Flannels
T-shirt season is finally here! Knowing Spokane though, it can rain or become cloudy at literally any moment. A plaid shirt is the perfect solution to this dilemma. 4. Denim Mini
Another cute fashion item for warmer weather is a jean skirt. It’s not the entire dress effect and still allows you to not wear pants as the weather starts to change. For this great option check out Target which has lots of colors, washes, lengths and styles to choose from. I got mine there just last week!
5. Trendy Sneakers
No need to leave your feet sweating in boots. While rain boots may still be practical, it’s definitely time to pack the Uggs and other warm boots away. A pair of killer kicks are perfect for getting around on campus comfortably. Converse are a personal fave of mine!
6. Flirty Florals
If you are hyped about wearing dresses without tights again, a spring floral printed one is perfect. Even though florals may not seem groundbreaking, they’re still cute! It will also go perfectly with a jean jacket!
7. Tank Tops Galore
