Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette: Review

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gettysburg chapter.

My typical makeup routine is pretty simple:  brow brush, mascara, some lipstick if I want to really dress up.  But when I received the tarteist pro Amazonian clay palette from the latest HC Survival Kit, I figured it was worth a try!

I mean, look at it!

It’s so pretty!! Tarte itself is cruelty-free, too; another bonus!

The palette comes with an insert featuring some possible combinations, too, so it takes out all the guesswork for those of us who aren’t so makeup-savvy.  For the sake of this article (and heading off to watch a friend in the Winter Choral Concert), I tried their #hPROedgyglam look, which features the glam, punk, edgy, and whimsy colours.

To start, I gathered my supplies and realised just how much of my makeup stash has come from Her Campus survival kits.

I was a bit nervous as I got started—some of these colours are really bold, so combining them must be quite the statement!  Nevertheless, I stuck with their directions, and I’m so glad I did.  Once blended, it works wonderfully!

And as for the result? Not bad for a first try!

Check out Tarte cosmetics or get your own tarteist pro Amazonian clay palette at ULTA or Sephora and try it for yourself!
