Okay, okay…I know what you’re thinking; this is Her Campus, not Her Middle School! But this 12-year-old can do no wrong in my book! Best-known as Sally Draper on AMC’s hit show, Mad Men, Shipka is quickly becoming my pint-sized muse of the moment. With tips from the show’s costume designer, Janie Bryant, the tween star has a sweet and girly style, paying homage to the simpler times of the 1950’s. Shipka keeps it young with fun peter pan collars, vintage babydoll dresses and sassy baubles. Follow up with dewy makeup and a pair of nude pumps to keep the look fresh. An ornate fascinator doesn’t hurt, but save it for a trip across the pond; some trends should be kept exclusively British!
