As part of the Week of Action to End Sexual Violence, Mason students gathered on Wednesday night for a candlelight vigil honoring survivors and victims of sexual violence. Each student was given a flower with a quote or a statistic to read aloud at the vigil, and then distribute somewhere on campus. A harrowing statistic shows that nationally, 1 in 4 college women may be sexually assaulted. It’s on us to make a change.
