With the *freezing* temperatures arriving with snow and rain, it’s safe to say that winter is my least favorite season. Although I dread this time of year, I have found I adore fashion much during these cold times between chunky sweaters and cute boots. Below are some of my favorite items to include in my winter wardrobe!

Mitten, Beanie, and Scarf Sets

After moving back to campus this semester, I quickly realized how important it is to own a pair of gloves and beanies when venturing around campus. These items, more specifically the gloves, make bearing the arctic wind much easier when it is windy. Freezing hands are not the move this semester.

If you’re looking for a cute and affordable set, Amazon offers many selections ranging from $8-$20 in a variety of colors to match almost every outfit. Here is a link to my favorite!

Chunky Sweaters

Is it even winter if you aren’t wearing chunky sweaters? Over the past few years, I recently discovered chunky sweaters and became *obsessed*. These are my go-to during the winter months as they never fail to keep me cozy and comfortable. Plus, they are always trending. Some of my favorite stores to buy oversized sweaters include H&M and Kohl’s.

Mom Jeans

Where do I even begin with mom jeans? Over the past couple of months, I ordered my first pair of mom jeans online. After they arrived, I fell in love with the style so quickly as the jeans are so comfy and stylish- I have found them to pair with every outfit. One of my go-to outfits this season consists of a sweater with mom jeans cuffed at the bottom. If you’re looking for a pair, I recommend checking out H&M

Nike Air Force Ones

For most of my life, my shoe collection was pretty simple- I constantly wore either flats, boots or running shoes.  Once I entered college, I began to expand my shoe collection as I was introduced to everyday sneakers. After saving money, I decided to take a leap of faith and order a pair of white Nike Air Force Ones.

After the shoes were delivered, I wore them around my house almost all day. Between the classic white and the unique details near the lacing, I now wear my Air Force Ones almost every day. If you’re interested in owning a pair, check out this link!

Silver Jewelry

Lastly, silver jewelry has been a staple in my winter wardrobe for at least three years. Although it is simple, I have found necklaces and rings to always spice up my outfit and add a touch of class. My favorite places to shop for affordable jewelry include H&M, Kohl’s and Amazon!

Although the cold weather can make us wear the same cozy clothes on the daily to stay warm, you can easily upgrade your wardrobe with these simple yet fashionable pieces!

Stay warm, collegiettes!
