My last week of my first semester of senior year has officially come to a close. And when I say that in this one semester I have went through hell and back, I wholeheartedly am telling the truth.

When I first set my foot on campus this semester, I was ambitious but anxious. I had begun yet another year of college here at Mason, but this one was special because it would be my last ride. I had goals in mind. I was going to succeed in every aspect of my life so that I wouldn’t be a complete screwup. However, that was all a joke and I’m literally sitting here crying tears of agony today. To sum it all up, here are a number of gifs that will easily recap my experiences in these last four months. Enjoy.

In between these two moments reality hit. Yes, my senior year is supposed to compose of all fun and games, but after evaluating my life plans and goals, I realized I had to regroup my whole life in less than a year. This is really what I signed up for…

I literally walked in my Fraternity and Sorority Life retreat with high hopes that our first post-breakup encounter would not be weird. I literally was praying that he would come in and sit at a table on the other side of the room. Instead, he decides to sit at the table right in front of me so that he would be in my view. Looks like this part of my senior is about to go down in hell.

My first week in was a breeze. Ask me where I am now? Three seconds from pulling my hair out.

When Figuring Out the Schedule Became My Weekly Puzzle

Trust me, getting a promotion is all fun and dandy until you realize your staff is full of lunatics who like to call out at one in the morning for their 9AM shift. At this point, I was just counting down the days until hell was over.

Yup, my fate had finally arrived. I was not going to survive the rest of this year and Satan was definitely seeking my downfall. I needed so much wine after this moment.

Me Currently

Well, the end of this semester is here and I guess I will say it was an emotional rollercoaster from hell. I’m surviving is all that matters. Another round of tequila would be nice right now.
