Why did you join Her Campus?

KQ: Writing is such a beautiful way to bring people together, and when I saw that Her Campus had a mission to empower college women, I knew it was the place for me.

How has Her Campus made you an empowered college woman?

KQ: Yes, Her Campus has completely made me an empowered college woman! I love being able to know that I’m part of something that’s spreading news across campus.

What are your career aspirations?

KQ: I’m an Integrative Studies Major with a concentration in Special Education and Leadership & Organizational Development! So, I want to work as an elementary special education teacher. From there, I’d like to either move into a principal role or teach at a college – anywhere I can inspire people to be the leader they’re capable of becoming.

What else are you involved in on campus?

KQ: I’m also involved in Pi Beta Phi and the MasonLife Program.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

KQ: Nap, most likely! Other then that, I love spending time with my friends and family.
