Tell us about yourself?

My name is Danso Oluwafolakemi Margret .A 2nd year student of Economics at Funaab. I’m from Ogun State, Abeokuta South. I’m of average height, slim, fair in complexion with a round face, fairly pointed nose and brown eye balls. I’m simple and cool headed. I like to explore and mingle with people of different life styles and opinions.

Why did you decide to come to Funaab? Why Economics?

I chose FUNAAB because of their top notch discipline and also Economics because I liked Economics as a subject in my secondary school days and also because it a relevant course, which gives room to fit into any sphere of the economy.

You’re in your year 2, tell us some of your favourite experiences in Funaab and the bad ones

One of my favourite experiences was when I contested and won MISS HOSTEL and MISS FUNAAB. The bad one was on my matriculation day, when I misplaced my newly bought phone.

When did you decide modelling was was for you?

A very long time ago, even before I secured admission.

How did you start modelling?

I started by contesting for MISS fresher.

You must have people you look up to in the industry, who are they?  Why them?

I don’t have any, because I saw modelling as a platform for my self-development.

How do you combine your academics with your modelling?

I combine it well by making sure no activities is clashing with the other and also, placing priories right as at when due.

Do you plan on being a full time model once you’re done with school or is it just something you would like to do on the side?

For now, I don’t know.

How did you feel at your first time on the runway?

I felt really happy. I took a bold step towards my long desired dream.

What type of modelling do you like?

I like alternative modelling. It’s a type of modelling that doesn’t conform to normal modelling standard.

As a model, one would expect you would go all out when it comes to fashion. Is that the case with you? Or you like to be simple?

I like to be simple and fashionable.

Where would you love to visit ?

I would like to visit Paris to see how beautiful it is. Going by the saying ‘See Paris and die’

Do you have any job you’re working on right now? or are you on a break? If yes, Why?

Yes, fashion designing, because it’s what I find pleasure doing.

What advise would you give to anyone that wants to be a model?

First, have that deep conviction that it’s your way because lots of people don’t like modelling and might because of that want to discourage you. Start somewhere and don’t expect yourself to sleep, wake up and get signed by agencies. It doesn’t work that way, to achieve one’s goal you need to take a bold step.

What are your favourite things to do?

 Sightseeing and talking.
