The Rest of Your Day After A Terrible Night’s Sleep

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FSU chapter.

The sound of your alarm clock is the worst thing ever.

You begin the agonizing task of getting out of bed

Because you have class in an hour.

Breakfast is just a reminder that you are currently awake.

You’ve finished getting ready, and you feel fabulous.

On your way to campus, everyone gets a dirty look.

You are not in the mood to interact with other people.

And yet you manage to run into everyone you don’t want to talk to.

It’s impossible to be on time for anything.

You try very hard to pay attention in class.

At work, so focused.

You forget that one thing you really need in your room.

Accomplishments become foreign concepts.

Life is exhausting.

But then later, when all of your friends want to go out,

Fatigue is forgotten,

And you are so ready.
