Dancers of Tallahassee, we have some big news to share to you! A modern ballet company, World Ballet Inc., has relocated to 1413 Maclay Commerce Drive. Word Ballet Inc., founded in the summer of 2008, is a nonprofit studio, under the direction of internationally known Henry Hernandez.
Professional dancer and teacher of World Ballet Inc., Henry Hernandez, has over a 30 year international ballet career and has even performed with Ballet Royal de Wallonie. Mr. Hernandez has toured the United States, Europe and even Asia! Mr. Hernandez has choreographed productions Emotion from a Classical Position, The Nutcracker: A Diversity Celebration, and Alice in Wonderland. Now listen to this because this isn’t your normal production of Peter Pan: Mr. Hernandez used the technology of Flying by Foy, to allow actors to fly in low height situations while preserving the magic of theatrical flight by concealing the apparatus from the audience’s view. Mr. Hernandez is known all over the world for his diversified productions that leave audiences in awe.
Now, you might be asking yourself, can I become a member of World Ballet Inc.? Our answer is yes! World Ballet has two major productions a year: The Nutcracker: A Diversity Celebration and a spring production of World of Rock. Currently, World Ballet Inc. is casting for the most recognizable scores in the ballet repertoire The Nutcracker: A Diversity Celebration. World Ballet Inc. welcomes college students from any major to audition. If you feel that you might be a little rusty, we have some good news to share. With over 6,000 square feet of dance space, World Ballet offers a multitude of dance classes for all levels of dancers.
