Quick & Easy Breakfast Smoothies for a Busy College Girl

As the new semester begins and reality hits, life can get hectic,sometimes leaving us with little time to give our body the proper treatment it deserves. Treating our bodies right starts with proper nutrition, so starting off the day right with breakfast is a must. However, with a busy schedule making breakfast seems less important than getting those five extra minutes of sleep. Breakfast smoothies can be a quick and easy way to solve this issue. These recipes allow you to boost up your energy and get you out the door on time!

1. “The Green Planet Smoothie”:

Blend ½ of a cucumber, ½ of a green apple, ¾ cup of spinach, & ¾ cup of kale.

2. “Rise and Shine Smoothie”:

Blend 1 cup of frozen mango, ½ cup of Greek yogurt, & 1 cup of almond milk.

3.Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie”: 

Blend 1 tbsp of peanut butter, 1 cup of a milk of your choice, & ½ a frozen banana.

4. “Kale Banana Smoothie”:

Blend ½ cup of frozen kale, ½ cup of coconut water, & ½ of a frozen banana.

5.Chunky Monkey Smoothie”:

Blend 1/3 cup of walnut pieces, 1 frozen banana, & 1 tbsp cocoa powder.
