Traveling soon? Stressed on what to pack? Start off by creating a checklist so you don’t miss anything you had in mind. Try not to leave your packing duties for the last minute, it will just add unnecessary stress. Packing about three days before will get you excited for the trip because you will be ready to go. Also, you don’t want to over pack because you might have to pay extra if your luggage looks like it’s about to explode. Pack smart. Here are some packing essentials that you will appreciate:

Entertainment

When traveling through plane and when it’s a long flight, you want to keep entertained. Pack headphones, a smart device to watch movies or hear music, a magazine, a portable charger and of course, your phone! Make sure to download a movie on your smart device because you probably won’t have WiFi on the plane, on a road trip or a train. Entertainment will make the trip fly by and before you know it, you have arrived to your destination.

Make sure to be comfortable!

You want to make sure to be comfortable wherever you go. Note down in your packing list a neck pillow, a blanket, socks, a sweater and eye mask if it helps you sleep while you’re traveling. Also, make sure to pack comfortable clothes and shoes that you will be able to move without a problem.

Capture the moments

A camera is everything on a trip. Capturing moments is so important and you want to be able to look back on the memories you made. Record and take pictures of things you want to remember and post it on all your social media platforms. Lucky for us, our phones already provide great cameras.

Health is ALL

Just in case you are feeling nauseous, have a bad migraine or are catching a cold, take medication with you. Packing Aspirin, Emergen-C and Advil should help you cope until you get back home. No one wants to ruin a good trip when they’re trying to have a good time.

Beauty

Everything that has to do with beauty, I pack in a medium-sized bag. What I have in there is a toothbrush, toothpaste, face wipes, deodorant, hair ties, hair brush, hair iron, Q-tips, Chapstick and shampoo & conditioner. Aside from that bag, I bring my make-up bag as well. Those two bags are my biggest essentials! They are at the top of my packing list.

Last but not least, make sure to pack snacks and water for the ride. You will probably get hungry or just get bored. Go ahead and create on your phone a general packing list for the next time you travel so you have it ready to go when you book your next trip!

This is a brief list of things that should be considered while you’re packing for your next trip. Packing shouldn’t be dreadful. It only gets dreadful when it’s left for the last minute and that’s not fun. Having a check list always helps me and it makes me feel prepared. That way I don’t miss anything that I wanted to pack.
