Are you hungry to make a change?!
This Saturday, April 18th, Hunger Clean Up is kicking off its 27th year in service, continuing to address the pressing issues of homelessness and hunger globally. Fairfield University Hunger Cleanup volunteers will be going to work sites of several community agencies in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Norwalk, Stratford, Trumbull and Westport. Teams are needed to perform tasks such as stocking food pantries, painting at churches, planting gardens, or pitching in with spring-cleaning at schools or nonprofits.
This year, the day will begin with breakfast served for all volunteers at 9 am in the Lower Level BCC. Following breakfast, Volunteers will head to their works sites at 9:30, and return by 1 pm.
If you are interested in becoming a Team Captain for this year’s clean up, recruit a group of friends, teammates or club members, and volunteer! To sign up, you can search Hunger Cleanup Team Captain Sign Up on Orgsync, or click this link.
If you have any further questions, stop by the Hunger Cleanup booth in Einstein’s from 6-7 pm this Tuesday, April 14th, and Thursday, April 16th OR contact Kimberly Ginsberg and Kristen Torres to sign up directly.Â
