Every collegiette knows the feeling of not being able to go sleep and enter dreamland when they have to wake up early for a class in the morning. Sometimes the biggest struggle of the day is simply getting our minds to relax to go to sleep, and this simple task seems nearly impossible most nights. Here are common things every collegiate does when they cannot fall asleep:
1.    Tweet About it
The first thing every millennial does when they can’t sleep is alert everyone on their social media networks.. So tired all day but the moment I try to go to sleep I can’t. #insomnia #SOS #CantSleep
2.    Message Tinder Boys
Best solution. They are usually so boring that they can put a cup of coffee to sleep. You are welcome ladies.
3.    Snapchat
*Sends a mass Snapchat to everyone in our contact list praying someone will respond.* Raise your hand if you are guilty.
4.    Watch Netflix
The best solution to any problem really, finally some free time to catch up on Scandal. This will probably last all night because Scandal is just so addicting but whatever YOLO.
5.    Text Someone You Shouldn’t
Late night thoughts are a dangerous thing and sometimes they lead to dangerous actions that we cannot simply be responsible for. It was the insomnia talking, not me. Is there a rewind button?
6.    Annoy the Roomie
If I am going to ride out this sleepless night, I am sure not doing it alone. Besides, the dark is scary and I get lonely. Hopefully she will be understanding when I wake up…I’ll let you know.
7.    Do Homework
Is there anything more tiring then doing homework? Even thought is exhausting, and the last thing anyone wants to do, it will definitely help put you to sleep.
8.    Check Social Media
Is there any better time killer than checking social media? It can take hours between Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest; constant entertainment 24/7. Gotta love it.
9.    Read A Book
There is nothing more comfortable or relaxing than reading a book to help you fall asleep. 10/10 would recommend.
10. Count Sheep
It sounds ridiculous, imagining sheep and counting them is extremely tiring. Who came up with this and how can I get in touch with them? So many questions.
