There is about a 26% acceptance rate at Emory University. Admission officers read and re-read all of our applications to assure they get the best group of kids possible. There is something that they look for in each person, something that makes them an Emory Student.
So…you know you go to Emory when:
1. You have never had Pepsi
2. You spend your nights in a shopping center at the Neighborhood Bar and Grill
3. You don’t know the rules of college football
4. Cold weather is anything below 50 degrees
5. 9 out of 10 of your friends are either pre-business or pre-med
6. You are friends with House (the library security guard)
7. Your Saturday morning destination is Goldbergs
8. Waiting 20 minutes for a Boars Head turkey sandwich is normal
9. Your freshman dorm is nicer than your room at home
10. You curse out OPUS twice a year
11. Its exciting to see a skeleton walking around campus
12. Pasta John knows you by name
13. Going off campus means going to the Village
14. You still don’t know any Southerners
15. Your Wednesdays are wonderful
