This past weekend, practically all of Emory ventured to New Orleans for a weekend of crazy fun, irresistible food, and funky fashion. Emory fashionistas sported colorful staples in the traditional Mardi Gras colors, purple, gold, and green, which they amped up with fun accessories. American apparel tank tops and metallic leggings were popular choices amongst Emory ladies, allowing them to remain cute and comfortable throughout the day. Bonus points if you color coordinated your fanny pack with your tank top, like in the photo below.

Style mantra #1 of Mardi Gras: the more accessories the better. Ladies added some extra flair to their color blocked outfits with fun embellishments like iridescent sunglasses, striped high socks, and layers of beads.
