Bold lips are the red-carpet essential that everyone should try. Follow this easy 3-step process to create those luscious lips.
1. Cover your lips with a pencil liner that matches your lips and is no darker than your lipstick. To create the seductive shape of your lips, sketch the edges repeatedly with the pencil.
2. Apply the lipstick starting at the middle of your lips and working your way around the entire lip, so you do not use too much color towards the edges.
3. To perfect this look, line the outer edges of your lips and apply lipstick to give off the illusion of plumper lips.
It’s important to find the right hue for you. Whether it is a neon pink, purple, coral, or red, make sure it works well with your skin color! If you have fair skin use pink undertones, softer peach tones, or bright petal coral pinks. For olive skin try a rich red color, rosier corals, or hot pink. As for darker skin tone, choose rich plums, deep corals with a hint of red or orange, fuchsias or magentas.
