Â
Her Campus Emory (HCE):Â Describe yourself in five words.
Caitlyn:Â Puppy-obsessed, nature-loving bookworm.
Â
HCE:Â What is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life?Â
Caitlyn:Â The steak frites from this restaurant called Le Relais d’EntrecĂ´te that I discovered this semester while studying abroad in Paris.
Â
HCE:Â If you could have dinner with a famous person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Caitlyn:Â Ray Allen – currently a free agent in the NBA, but formerly a shooting guard for the Boston Celtics before he moved to the Miami Heat. I idolized him in high school when I played on my basketball team and he broke my heart when he left Boston. I want to know why he left!
Â
HCE:Â Describe your ideal weekend.
Caitlyn:Â Traveling somewhere with amazing hiking trails (e.g., Cape Town, Iceland)Â with my dad and my dog and spending the weekend in the mountains.
Â
HCE: How can someone win your heart?
Caitlyn:Â Bring me an iced vanilla coffee from Dunkin (Kaldi’s is too expensive and Dunkin is the pride of New England) with cream and sugar and a maple bacon doughnut from Revolution Doughnuts.
HCE:Â What is the worst pick-up line you have ever heard?
Caitlyn: Anything involving Olivia Wilde—guys love to point out how I look like her long lost daughter/identical twin.
Â
HCE: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Caitlyn: Slow walkers—spot me Olympic style speed-walking through campus next semester, sporting my white headphones and sunglasses. and you know I mean business because I got places to be, people!
Â
HCE:Â What has been your biggest accomplishment since being at Emory?
Caitlyn:Â Becoming closer with my parents. I thought that being 1200 miles away from them would pull us apart, but I feel even closer to them than I did in high school. The separation made me realize how grateful I am for all that they do. They are what brings me true happiness.
Â
HCE:Â If you could ask your future self any question, what would it be
Caitlyn:Â Have you hiked Mount Everest yet??
